Application guide · SEED Chemicals

Waterproofing starts with the structure and the water path.

Discuss waterproofing materials for projects in Pakistan with SEED Chemicals. Start with the substrate, where water reaches it, the intended finish and the details that need treatment.

A roof build-up, a bathroom below tiles and a concrete basement need different assessments. This guide helps you prepare that discussion; it does not select a complete system or release application instructions.

Choose the enquiry that matches the work.

TENSYL is SEED Chemicals’ own line. IZONIL and VELOSIT are separate supplied brands. The products below have distinct roles and documentation requirements; a shared application category does not make them interchangeable.

Application to discussCatalogue starting pointSelection limit
Bathroom and other wet areas below tilesTENSYL Quatro Coating is a two-component cementitious coating listed for specified wet-area and below-tile waterproofing enquiries.Confirm the substrate and complete system. Component proportions, added water, thickness, yield and curing remain on technical hold. Obtain reconciled instructions and matched component safety documents before use.
Roofs, terraces and balconiesVELOSIT WP 124 lists terraces and balconies below tiles or natural stone, and specified covered or lightly trafficked roofs. TENSYL Quatro Coating also lists specified inverted-roof enquiries.Describe the intended roof build-up and exposure. WP 124 has distinct flexible and semi-flexible variants: confirm the exact variant and matched components. Recipes and variant-dependent performance remain on hold.
Concrete basements and below-grade structuresVELOSIT CW 111 is a crystalline waterproofing slurry for concrete. VELOSIT WP 100 is a rigid cementitious slurry whose listed applications include concrete and masonry basements.Identify the substrate and proposed treatment. A concrete-specific product is not automatically a masonry treatment. WP 100 requires corrected mixing instructions; its numerical pressure rating remains unverified.
A localized active leakVELOSIT PC 221 is a rapid-setting plug cement for specified localized active-leak treatment in mineral substrates.Leak plugging has a different role from waterproofing the wider structure. Obtain the current method and safety instructions; conflicting pressure and mixing declarations are not a basis for a site recipe.
Joints, cracks and penetrationsVELOSIT DB 830 is a joint-tape enquiry within specified WP 124 details. IZONIL WPS / WPG are separate filler systems for manufacturer-detailed joint and foundation work.Request the detail for the actual joint or penetration. Neither a product name nor this guide establishes universal movement-joint suitability. Exact DB 830 instructions and the complete WPS / WPG system detail require confirmation.

Keep roof layers and product identities separate.

IZONIL Quatro is a lightweight roof and floor screed mixed with EPS beads for above-ground concrete slabs. It is separate from TENSYL Quatro Coating. A screed identity does not settle the waterproofing design of a roof.

Describe drainage, parapet junctions, penetrations and the final finish as part of the roof enquiry. The IZONIL Quatro water-penetration rating remains on hold; the thermal-conductivity entry for EPS beads does not establish the conductivity of the finished screed.

IZONIL Universal is listed for above-ground vertical brick and block walls. Its selected documentation does not cover underground walls, tanks or horizontal slabs. Do not extend that scope to a basement or roof because the wider catalogue contains waterproofing products.

Preparation follows the selected product and system.

The reviewed CW 111 and WP 100 information calls for a sound, pore-open substrate, removal of bond-breaking material, treatment of active leaks, defect repairs and pre-dampening to a saturated-surface-dry condition. Those requirements belong to those products; they are not a universal preparation method for every material in this guide.

Before work starts, confirm the current matching Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet, the supplied variant, substrate requirements, compatible details, mixing, thickness, curing and exposure limits. Where the catalogue shows a technical hold, resolve it with the technical team before specification or application. Use the exact-product document checklist.

This guide makes no permanence, service-life, no-breakout or potable-water suitability promise. Current potable-water approval has not been established for the products discussed here. A water-retaining structure requires its own documented assessment.

Edit the notes below, then copy them into your enquiry. Mark unknown information as unconfirmed. This page does not send or deliberately save the notes; copy them before leaving.

Prepare an enquiry or review and send the notes through your own email app to info@seedpk.com. This guide does not add products to an enquiry basket.
